PDF Bank Statements
Statements from BPI, Metrobank, RCBC and HSBC have dedicated readers. Other banks go through a general statement reader, with text recognition for scanned PDFs.
CSV and Excel Files
Upload .csv or .xlsx exports. ClearSpent suggests which column holds the date, amount and description, and you can change the mapping before importing.
Categories Filled In
A list of Philippine merchants categorizes most rows straight away. With your consent, AI suggests categories for the rest.
No Double Counting
Rows that match transactions you already have are flagged, so importing an overlapping statement does not count the same purchase twice.
How Import Works
Choose one or more files and the account they belong to. ClearSpent reads each file, maps its columns and shows you every row before anything is saved.
You review the preview, fix categories or skip rows, then import. Large statements are saved in batches, and duplicates are checked against what is already in your account.
